Margin: Margin is the required capital or balance necessary to open and maintain a trading position.
Spread: Spread refers to the difference or gap between the buy (ask) and the sell (bid) prices of an asset.
- For MT4 standard accounts and Trade W Account (Web Trader/APP), the spread cost is based on a floating spread that can be as low as zero. Since spreads can fluctuate due to changing market conditions, the exact spread cost is determined at the moment the position is opened. This reflects the dynamic nature of spreads in response to market shifts.
- For MT4 Pro Account Spread Cost: In the Pro Account, the spread is also floating but starts at a minimum of 10 pips. Similar to the standard account, the spread can vary dynamically in response to market shifts.
Commission Fee: This fee is applicable when trading on the Standard Account. It is charged once for each lot traded upon opening trading positions, with no additional fee at closing positions. At Trade W, the commission fee is $10/lot for Forex and $15/lot for Crypto, Precious Metals, Indices, and Stocks. If you prefer to avoid commission fees, Trade W also offers a Pro Account, where you won't be charged any commissions when opening positions.
